    • Ground Beef
    • Yellow Onion
    • Minced Garlic
    • Frozen Mushrooms
    • Sea Salt
    • Dried Parsley
    • Dried Sage
    • Coarse Ground Black Pepper
    • Dried Oregano
    • Worcestershire Sauce
    • Sour Cream
    • Cream Cheese
    • Cheddar Cheese
    • Frozen Tater Tots

    Instructions

    Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

    In a large skillet frying pan over medium heat cook the beef, onion and garlic until no pink remains, about 8-10 minutes. Add the frozen mushrooms and heat them until they are defrosted.

    Add the salt, parsley, sage, pepper, oregano, worcestershire sauce, sour cream and cream cheese to the pan and stir together. Break up the cream cheese and keep stirring until it is completely mixed in.

    Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish. Top with the shredded cheddar cheese and then an even layer of frozen tater tots.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and the tater tots are browned.

    Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

    • 1 pound Ground Beef
    • 1 medium Yellow Onion
    • 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
    • 10 ounce bag Frozen Mushrooms
    • 1 tsp Sea Salt
    • 1 Tbsp Dried Parsley
    • 1 tsp Dried Sage
    • ½ tsp Coarse Ground Black Pepper
    • ½ tsp Dried Oregano
    • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
    • ½ cup Sour Cream
    • 8 ounces Cream Cheese
    • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
    • 1 - 32 ounce bag Frozen Tater Tots

    Instructions

    Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

    Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish. Top with the shredded cheddar cheese and then an even layer of frozen tater tots.

    Ingredients

    • Tater Tots
    • Ground Beef
    • Onion
    • Chili Powder
    • Ground Cumin
    • Paprika
    • Salt
    • Onion Powder
    • Garlic Powder
    • Oregano
    • Black Pepper
    • Cheddar Cheese
    • Tomatoes
    • Sour Cream
    • Avocados
    • Black Olives

    Instructions

    Prepare the tater tots in the oven following the instructions on the bag.

    While the tater tots are baking prepare the taco meat. On the stovetop in a large pan add the ground beef and break up while cooking on medium heat.

    Once the burger is broken into small pieces add the onion and continue cooking until there isn't any pink left in the meat and onion is translucent.

    In a small bowl mix together the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano and pepper. Sprinkle this mixture onto the beef mixture and stir in. Evenly top this with the shredded cheese and let it melt.

    When the tater tots come out of the oven distribute them into your bowls (I made 3 large bowls, but you could easily make this into 6 servings).

    Top the tater tots with the ground beef mixture and then add the chopped tomatoes, sliced avocado, sliced black olives and sour cream on top.

    Serve immediately.

    I have total time for this recipe as 30 minutes because you will make the taco meat while the tater tots are baking. This allows everything to get done around the same time so you're ready prepare hot bowls of tater tot tacos.

    For meal prep I make the ground beef mixture ahead of time and chop up the toppings. Then I just need to baked the tater tots and reheat the meat mixture to serve.
