It is very important that you break the chicken bites apart at 6 minutes in the cooking process. If you don't do that you will have a stuck together lump of chicken and the bites won't brown properly.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How long do you cook chicken bites in the air fryer?

Chicken bites cook quickly in the air fryer. I cook them at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. Be sure to flip or shake them halfway through for even cooking and juicy results.

Are air fryer chicken bites healthy?

Yes, air fryer chicken bites are a healthy option since they're made with lean protein and cooked with minimal oil. This makes them a quick, protein packed meal or snack that fits well into a balanced, healthy diet.

    Scale
    • 1 lbs. Beef Chuck Roast, cut into think strips
    • ½ cup Beef Broth
    • ½ cup Coconut Aminos
    • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
    • 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
    • 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
    • 1 tsp Salt

    • ¼ tsp Coarse Ground Black Pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
    • 3 Tbsp. Water
    • 12 ounce bag Frozen Broccoli
    • Jasmine Rice, cooked for serving

    Top Tip

My favorite way to serve this is over rice. Jasmine rice is my favorite for its texture. I cook mine in my Instant Pot. I add 2 cups Jasmine Rice and 2 ½ cups water for 3 minutes on Manual. Then let the steam release naturally.

I'm aware that others say to do a one to one ratio with the rice and water. For me this allows the rice to stick together too much. Adding the extra ½ cup of water gives me rice that is easily fluffed with a fork and served.
