This easy Trader Joe's copycat recipe for pumpkin butter is so simple to make from scratch on the stovetop! Using pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice this recipe makes a creamy homemade spread that is perfect on toast.
- 1 cup Pumpkin Puree - ¼ cup Brown Sugar - 1 Tbsp Honey - 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice - 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice - ¼ tsp Sea Salt
In a saucepan over medium heat add the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, honey, lemon juice, pumpkin pie spice and seas salt. Stir to combine.
Heat while stirring until the sauce goes from bright orange to a dark orange and thickens a bit, about 5 minutes.
Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for 7-10 days.
